About
Prof. Hill received his PhD from the University of Iowa in 2003. His work focuses primarily on the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries and ranges across ethics and the natural law, the philosophy of mind, and traditional M&E. He is a co-editor of The Routledge Companion to 16th Century Philosophy (Routledge, 2017), The History of the Philosophy of Language: A Sourcebook (Springer, 2016), The Language of Nature: Re-Conceptualizing the Mathematization of Science (University of Minnesota, 2016), and The Philosophy of Francisco Suarez (Oxford: 2012). He is currently working on a volume on the philosophy of mind in the early modern period.
